Socks is a sensitive and gentle soul who needs a family with considerable patience and ability to help build her confidence and give her time to settle in and get comfortable with new situations. Ideally another more confident dog in the house to help show her the ropes will help build her confidence. 

She hides and avoids people at the adoption clinics but once she’s settled and comfy in her foster home her sweet personality comes out. She’s come a long way in a month from cowering in corners to seeking attention but still needs her own family to get her well socialized. 

We are working on potty training, crate training, and on a good schedule with meals. But it can be rough with siblings around to distract us.

Please note: All dogs are expected to attend our next adoption event, however sometimes life gets in the way. We encourage you to attend our next event to inquire about meeting or adopting any dog listed on our site or email us to request a meeting outside of an event.
